Check out our April calendar!

Fountain Heights Farms is thrilled to share our updated farm calendar for April 2023! We have a diverse range of events and activities planned that will appeal to everyone, from families to foodies to nature enthusiasts.

One event that we are especially excited about is Mondays for the Culture. This is a BIPOC day for gathering, where Black, Indigenous, and People of the Global Majority can come together to work and tend the land. We believe that this is a crucial opportunity to build community and create meaningful connections with each other and the earth. Expect to get your hands in the soil, share laughs, and build relationships. Mondays for the Culture will take place every Monday from 9-noon starting April 10th. We invite all those who identify as BIPOC to join us for this special day of connection and growth.

For those looking to celebrate Earth Day, we are hosting a special event on April 22nd from 9-noon. Plant a Feast for Earth Day is an opportunity to join us in planting a variety of herbs, fruits, and vegetables that will grow into a beautiful feast for the community. We believe that this is a great way to honor the earth and promote sustainable practices. We encourage everyone to join us in this important celebration of our planet. To sign up for Plant a Feast for Earth Day, visit bit.ly/FHFEarthDay2023.

In addition to these special events, we are offering a variety of Farm Tours throughout the month. These tours are a great way to learn about sustainable agriculture and connect with nature. Chris, Dominique, or one of our knowledgeable volunteers will guide you through the urban farm space and answer any questions you may have.

All of these events are open to the public, and we encourage you to sign up using the Point app. This is a great way to stay up-to-date on all of our upcoming events and activities. You can also use the app to RSVP for events and communicate with other attendees. We can't wait to see you on the farm this April!

We encourage all visitors to wear comfortable shoes, bring drinking water, and dress appropriately for the weather.

*Remember, rainy days mean that we rest and reschedule.
