Fountain Heights Cooperative LLC, operating as Fountain Heights Farms Cooperative ("FHFC," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of our farm members, CSA subscribers, volunteers, apprentices, donors, and website visitors (collectively, "you"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices — including how it applies to text messages (SMS) you may receive from us. 1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and coordinate our CSA program, farm sites, volunteer schedule, and apprenticeship program; send you pickup reminders, farm announcements, program updates, and other communications you have opted in to receive, including by text message; process donations and communicate with supporters and donors; respond to your questions and requests; comply with grant, legal, and regulatory requirements; and improve our programs and communications.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Program
Consent and Opt-In. By providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages (for example, by signing up for CSA, volunteer, or general FHFC announcements, or by texting us directly), you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy. We ensure that your consent is obtained explicitly and that you are informed about the types of messages you will receive — recurring texts about farm and co-op announcements and CSA member communications, such as pickup reminders, schedule changes, and program updates.

Message Frequency. Message frequency varies depending on farm and program activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out of Text Messages. You have the right to opt out of receiving text messages from Fountain Heights Farms Cooperative at any time. To opt out, you can reply "STOP" to any text message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will not receive further texts from us unless you opt in again.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Wireless carriers are not responsible for the content of our messages.

4. Sharing of Personal Information
Fountain Heights Cooperative LLC does not share, sell, or disclose your personal information or mobile opt-in data to third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law. Your information is kept confidential and used solely for the purposes you have agreed to. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties. Text messaging opt-in data is not being shared with third parties.

We may share other information only with service providers who help us operate our programs and communications (under obligations to protect your information); with grant funders or regulatory agencies where required for compliance or reporting; when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FHFC, our members, or others; or with your explicit consent.

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our programs and services, maintain our records for grant and legal compliance, and for a reasonable period after you opt out or your involvement with FHFC ends, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Our text messaging program and website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it.
